## Tempest Droneworx™ Awarded FAA Contract for Harbinger™ Software to Enhance 3D Mapping with Multi-Drone Control

_Houston, TX – September 15, 2023 – Tempest Droneworx™, a leading innovator in drone technology and real-time intelligence, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the demonstration and evaluation of the Control component of its Harbinger™ software. The software addresses the challenge of managing multiple drones with a single pilot for 3D mapping purposes, a feat that is set to revolutionize the drone industry._

The Harbinger™ software consists of four key components: Aggregate, Analyze, Control, and Disseminate. The Control component uses a provisional patented method to divide airspace three-dimensionally based on the aircraft type, sensor type, and current task. The software is also planned to integrate with Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation’s (LSUASC) CIRRUS software as part of the effort to assist with seamless deconfliction of airspace with Automatic Designated Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) equipped manned aircraft.

LSUASC, one of seven Federal Aviation Administration UAS Test Sites, is operated by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and will be working with Tempest Droneworx™ on this endeavor.

"With the Harbinger™ software, tasks can be divided among multiple drones, allowing for simultaneous mapping using LiDAR, thermal, and RGB missions," says Ty Audronis, CEO of Tempest Droneworx™. "In the wake of large-scale natural disasters such as hurricanes and wildfires, this technology allows for rapid assessment of damage and efficient resource allocation."

The FAA contract includes a nine-month testing period and culminates in a full mock scenario demonstration. As part of the contract, Tempest Droneworx™ will provide the FAA with a comprehensive report, and a proposed Standard Operating Procedure for multi-drone mapping.

"Being selected for this contract is a proud moment for Tempest Droneworx™," says Dana Abramovitz, COO of Tempest Droneworx™. "We are excited about the future of multi-drone mapping and look forward to continued collaboration with the FAA."

Harbinger™ Control is drone agnostic and can be used with any drone that meets security and basic communication requirements, including ground-based rovers and submersibles. It is estimated to control up to 1,250 drones simultaneously using a single server, subject to communication protocols and networks used.
